Welcome to Wolf Mark. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Wolf Mark ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
Wolf Mark is an advanced spatial analysis and WiFi mapping tool. To function, the App requires access to specific device sensors and network interfaces. We collect the following data locally on your device:
The primary purpose of collecting this data is to calculate geometric pathways, signal coverage radiuses, and Bayesian probability heatmaps for surrounding WiFi Access Points. All real time mapping calculations and data processing are performed locally on your device in active memory.
We use this data exclusively to: Estimate the physical distance and geographic location of WiFi access points. Render real time tracking grids, UI map overlays, and visual heatmaps. Filter out physical anomalies (such as signal bounces, "torso eclipses", or ground nulls) for accurate tracking.
Wolf Mark is built with privacy by design principles. We do not operate background tracking servers, and your location or network data is not automatically uploaded to the cloud.
User Initiated Exports: The App includes a "Data Export & Privacy" feature that allows you to manually export your mapped session data (via JSON format) to save locally on your device or email directly to the developer (contact@oother.com) or a third party.
Spatial Obfuscation Privacy Feature: Because raw mapping data contains your precise physical location and nearby router IDs, Wolf Mark includes a built in privacy engine called Spatial Obfuscation, which is enabled by default during data export. When enabled, the App mathematically protects your identity by:
Warning: You have the option to disable Spatial Obfuscation before exporting. If you choose to do so, your exact coordinates and plain text network names will be exported. You are solely responsible for how you handle, secure, and share this raw data.
Wolf Mark utilizes the Google Maps SDK to provide satellite and map visual overlays beneath your WiFi heatmaps. By using the map view within Wolf Mark, your location data is processed by Google to render map tiles. Your use of this feature is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Because Wolf Mark processes data primarily in your device's active memory (RAM) via an internal database, your real time tracking session data is generally cleared when the application is fully closed. Exported files are temporarily generated in your device's local cache directory to facilitate sharing and remain under your control to delete at any time.
Wolf Mark is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
